QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
I have a few cr10sprov2's and would love to get one or more of your palette 3's. I had a few questions first though. How does it handle the excess filament in the bowden tube? How does this hook up exactly? Do I bypass the filament runout sensor with it? Do I need to do anything to my existing gcode or is this separate from that? Thanks! -Nathan
With regards to the outgoing tube provided with Palette, when the right size is saved to the printer profile, it should create just enough filament to come out of the tube. This tube will connect to the provided tube clip which clips into the printer's extruder mm3d.co/p3-setup
The printer's filament sensor can either be turned off in the firmware or unplugged altogether.
We would recommend creating a printer profile in Canvas, where the custom gcode sequences can be added (start or end sequence). By doing this, they can become one with the slicer and test prints in single color before adding Palette mm3d.co/p3-canvas
