Does this laser engraver require a filter like the Glowforge?
It does not require a filter because it is an open source diode laser, proper ventilated work space is strongly recommended.

Hi Danny The LaserPecker 2 Basic is not equipped with the rotary tool. However The LaserPecker 2 Pro Laser Cutter/Engraver Bundle does come with a rotary tool that can engrave on curved/cyclindrical objects.

Do you plug your phone in to it find a picture and push go
Connectivity is via bluetooth and you must have the Laserpecker App on your mobile phone installed for it to communicate with the laser effectively.
